Schedules of Dilapidations and Negotiation
We have extensive experience in acting for either Landlord or Tenant in the field of dilapidations and particularly production and negotiation of schedules of dilapidations.
We will examine the detail of your lease and advise you on your liabilities and either produce a fully costed schedule of dilapidations for service on the tenant or negotiate on your behalf with the surveyor for the other side.
If a tenant, it is best that you get us involved well before the termination of your lease so we can assist you in your compliance of your repairing covenants. We can also advise you once you have been served with a Schedule of Dilapidations and negotiate with the Landlord’s surveyor on your behalf. This typically will reduce the claim made by the landlord.
